As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for CAALA software over all frontend development and migration to a new framework, managing frontend projects, setting up the right structure, and improving the performance of the software.
Your Role at CAALA
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to deliver a seamless and responsive user experience.
- Manage your own projects, including scoping, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to understand requirements and implement innovative solutions.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of frontend migration projects, ensuring a smooth transition to new technologies and frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Provide mentorship, training, and knowledge sharing to junior developers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
Your Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional frontend development experience.
- Strong expertise in Angular and TypeScript.
- Proven experience managing projects and working independently.
- Experience with front end migration projects, including knowledge of best practices and challenges.
- Familiarity with modern web development tools and workflows, such as package managers, version control systems, and build tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and frameworks quickly.
- Experience with performance optimization and profiling of frontend applications.
- Knowledge of web security best practices and techniques.
- Familiarity with progressive web app (PWA) development.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of responsive web design principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with other modern frontend frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Contributions to open-source projects ora strong online presence in the frontend development community. (Portfolio)
- Strong knowledge of responsive web design principles.
- Experience with internationalization and localization of web applications.
- Excellent presentation and documentation skills for knowledge sharing within the team and the wider developer community.
